covid-19 update3/17/2020 To our HKA Ohana,
As always, we remain focused on the safety, health and well-being of our entire Hawaiian Kajukenbo Association Ohana. In line with state and federal recommendations, and out of an abundance of concern for our instructors, students and their families, we are proceeding with the suspension of all Hawaiian Kajukenbo Association classes effective Wednesday, March 18 through Saturday, April 4. At this time, we anticipate classes will resume on Monday, April 6. However, in the event that circumstances warrant further suspension of classes, we will communicate that information as soon as possible. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and will provide updates as information is made available. Future updates will be posted here on our school website, www.hawaiiankajukenbo.com. In the interim, we encourage students to continue their training, at least 30 minutes a day. We encourage students to continue to utilize their HKA workbook as a training guide. In addition selected kata videos have been made available to all HKA members via the school website, student-only link. Mahalo nui loa for your continued support of Hawaiian Kajukenbo Association. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time. Sincerely yours, Erika C. Iversen Ruiz, Lead Instructor Hawaiian Kajukenbo Association
